Charlise Mutten Missing – A frantic quest for a missing nine-year-old young lady has entered its second day with police sifting through thick bushland in the Blue Mountains.

Charlise Mutten was accounted for missing at 8.20 am on Friday from a home at Mt Wilson, somewhere down in the Blue Mountains public park. She was most recently seen on Thursday.

Acting Superintendent John Nelson said Charlise is from Queensland and has been holidaying with her family in Mt Wilson over the school break.

NSW Police affirmed the house was being looked at and that a vehicle had been seized for assessment.

A full-scale activity including many officials, helicopters, the canine crew, and crisis reaction volunteers was sent off on Friday.

The inquiry was briefly stopped as weighty tempests lashed the locale before officials continued on Saturday.

Charlise is depicted as being of Caucasian appearance with dainty earthy colored hair. It isn’t known what she was wearing when she vanished.

It is perceived the police murder crew was brought in on Friday evening, 9News announced.
